Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. She managed to make it with the stipend she received from her students while working part time jobs.
