Kosik spent most of her childhood living in Miami, Florida, with her parents, Gilbert Kosik, and Brenda. She attended Nova High School and graduated with an B.A. American University, Washington, D.C. is a school that offers qualifications that cover Broadcast Journalism, Political Science, and Political Science. Kosik's professional career started in the field of journalism as a reporter with KZTV-TV as well as KRIS-TV Corpus Christi in Texas shortly after her graduation.
