Lesley-Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town, South Africa on December 2, 1981. She is a model and actress best known as a TV actress and film. Brandt began her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut came with her part as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has been featured on numerous TV series during the past 10 years. These include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt is playing the role of Mazikeen in the series of urban fantasy Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt came from Cape Town South Africa, but moved with her parents to Auckland New Zealand in late adolescence. Brandt began her modeling career through appearances in commercials and print ads. Before she rose to fame as a model she worked in the field of retail sales and also served as an expert in recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she got her first role in Leilani on the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. The first time she appeared was in Spartacus Blood and Sand in 2021. She was Naevia who was a slave in the show. Her role as Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She also began to play an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. She has played her leading role until now. The series features Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside and D. B. Woodside.
