Anne Erin Clark (also known as St. Vincent) is an American singing and music artist. The complex arrangements of her music, which include many musical instruments, are well-known. St. Vincent is the recipient of various accolades which include the three Grammy Awards. At the age of three the parents split and she and two older sisters moved with their mother in Dallas Texas. Their 23andMe tests revealed that she was Ashkenazi Jew and Irish through one of her grandmothers. Clark was raised Catholic as well as Unitarian Universalist. Nick Cave inspired Vincent to adopt her stage name. St. Vincent with her real name, Annie Clark, is a devoted Nick Cave member.
